Magnifiers, and more magnifiers
As mentioned I’ve been checking out the status of accessibility in Linux, and I am quite impressed with the progress. For now, however, I decide to leave that behind for awhile, as I can’t be contributing much until I can use the operating system “for real”. This time I’d like to point out two screen magnifiers for the Windows operating system. Why I point these out is because they have a rare feature (for free magnifiers) which I (among others) need; namely full screen magnification.
To sum them both up I’d say they both work somewhat well.
The first one is called iZoom, from Issist.
The second one is called DesktopZoom. Just Google them if you happen to be interested.
By the way, Windows Vista is soon approaching. I haven’t tested the OS yet, but I know there will be a much better magnifier included. I still don’t think it will do full-screen magnification though.
